Fire Audit Cost in Pune: What Decides the Price

There is no single price for a fire audit or Form B — it depends on your building. Here is what affects the cost, what a good quote should include, and how to get an exact quote quickly.

Price on request — after a free site visit

FIRENET quotes every fire safety audit and Form B after a free site visit in Pune and PCMC. That is not to hide the price: the work genuinely varies. A 4-floor office with extinguishers and an alarm needs a few hours; a 20-floor society with a pump room, wet risers and sprinklers needs much more testing.

The table below explains what drives the price, so you can compare quotes fairly.

How to get an exact quote fast

  • Building address and type (society, office, factory, hospital, school, hotel)
  • Number of floors, wings and basements, and approximate built-up area
  • Fire systems installed (extinguishers, hose reels, hydrant, sprinkler, alarm, pumps, suppression)
  • Date of your last Form B and any fire approval / NOC documents

What a Good Quote Includes — and Red Flags

✅

Clear scope

Which floors, areas and systems are covered, and which tests will actually be done.

📑

Written report

Photos, risk rating and a practical fix for every finding — not a one-page checklist.

🏛️

Licensed Agency

Form A and Form B can only be issued by a Licensed Agency. Ask to see the licence.

🚩

Red flag: no testing

A quote that never runs the pumps or tests the alarm cannot tell you the system works.

🚩

Red flag: certificate without a visit

Form B “on paper” is risky for you — and certifying maintenance that was not done is an offence under the Act.

🚩

Red flag: vague repairs

Repairs should be itemised so you can compare and decide.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why don’t you publish a fixed price? +

Two buildings of the same size can need very different work — one has a sprinkler system, pump room and 20 floors, another has extinguishers only. A fixed price would either overcharge the simple building or skip tests in the complex one. We quote after a free site visit.

Is the site visit really free? +

Yes. For sites in Pune and PCMC the first visit to understand the building and scope is free, and you receive a written quote.

Are repairs included in the audit price? +

No. The audit covers inspection, testing and the report. Repairs are quoted separately so you can decide what to fix and who fixes it.

Is Form B charged separately? +

Usually Form B is quoted together with the inspection and testing it needs. If repairs are needed first, those are quoted separately.

Is a cheaper quote always worse? +

Not always — but check what is included. A quote that skips testing, or offers Form B without inspecting the building, is a warning sign: the Act makes it an offence for a Licensed Agency to certify maintenance that has not actually been done.
