How they work
A fire ball is a sealed ball of dry powder. When flames reach it, it bursts and spreads the powder over a small fire. You can also throw it into a small fire from a safe distance.
Where to keep them
Place fire balls close to a specific risk: above or beside an electrical board, in a store room, near a kitchen appliance or in a vehicle. They work best in small, contained spaces.
Know the limits
Fire balls are for small fires and extra protection. They do not replace fire extinguishers, alarms or other systems your building needs. Replace a ball after it has burst or once it passes its expiry date.

Yes. FIRENET refills, services and maintains fire safety equipment. In Pune and PCMC we also offer on-site servicing and annual maintenance contracts.
No. A fire ball adds automatic protection near one risk. Keep fire extinguishers as well, and call the fire brigade (101 or 112) for any fire that is not small.
