International School Campus
📍 Hadapsar, Pune
Addressable fire alarm, emergency lighting, voice evacuation system, and mock drill programme. CBSE and fire department compliance achieved.
Hundreds of children, a few staircases and a few minutes to get everyone out. We audit your campus, fix the gaps and train staff and students to evacuate calmly.

Educational buildings are a separate occupancy class under the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2006, with fire safety requirements that depend on the building’s height. Beyond the rules, parents and managements want to know one thing: can every student get out quickly and safely?
Our audit looks at classrooms, corridors, staircases, science and computer labs, canteens and hostels. We check that exits are wide and unlocked, that alarms can be heard in every room, and that staff know their role in an evacuation. Where the building is covered by the Act, we also handle the twice-yearly Form B.
Number and width of exits, doors unlocked during school hours, and clear corridors.
Can the alarm or PA be heard in every classroom, lab, library and hall?
Chemical storage, gas lines in labs and canteens, and the right extinguishers.
Type, location, height and service dates — and staff who can use them.
Detection in rooms and corridors, night-time evacuation and warden roles.
Mock drill schedule, assembly points, headcount method and drill records.
Typical examples of gaps found in audits of similar buildings — not a specific client. Your report lists what we actually find at your site, with photos.
| Area | Typical finding | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Staircases | Second exit locked “for security” during school hours | Children trapped |
| Labs | Gas cylinders and chemicals stored together | Fire and toxic smoke |
| Canteen | LPG cylinders inside the kitchen, no K-type extinguisher | Kitchen fire spreads |
| Classrooms | Alarm not audible with doors closed | Late evacuation |
| Coaching classes | One narrow exit for a full batch | Overcrowding in an emergency |
| Drills | No drill held in the academic year | Staff unsure of roles |

Educational buildings are covered by the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2006, with requirements based on height. Covered buildings must keep fire safety systems in working order and submit a maintenance certificate (Form B) from a Licensed Agency twice a year. An audit is the practical way to check you meet these requirements.
