Cold Chain Warehouse
📍 Ranjangaon MIDC, Pune
Dry pipe sprinkler system for below-zero storage areas, pre-action system for server room, and integrated alarm with cold storage monitoring.
High racks, tonnes of packaging and forklifts charging overnight — a warehouse fire spreads fast. We check that your sprinklers, hydrants and storage layout can actually stop it.

Warehouses are designed around a layout that rarely stays the same. Racks get taller, stock moves closer to the sprinkler heads, new mezzanines appear, and battery-charging areas grow as the forklift fleet expands. Each change can quietly reduce the protection that was designed for the building.
Storage buildings covered by the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2006 must keep their fire systems in working order and submit a twice-yearly maintenance certificate (Form B) from a Licensed Agency. Our audits cover logistics parks and stand-alone warehouses across Pune, Chakan, Talegaon, Ranjangaon and the Nagar Road belt.
Coverage for the current rack height, clearance below sprinkler heads and in-rack protection where needed.
Yard hydrants, hose boxes, ring main pressure and automatic pump start.
Stacking height, aisle widths, segregation of flammables, aerosols and lithium batteries.
Charging bays away from stock, ventilation, electrical protection and extinguishers.
Truck parking, dock doors, fire tender access and clear exits from the floor.
Detection suited to high roofs, alarm audibility over machinery noise and a tested panel.
Typical examples of gaps found in audits of similar buildings — not a specific client. Your report lists what we actually find at your site, with photos.
| Area | Typical finding | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Racks | Stock stacked up to or above the sprinkler heads | Sprinklers cannot reach the fire |
| Layout changes | New mezzanine or office block without sprinklers | Unprotected area |
| Battery charging | Forklifts charged next to packaging stock | Electrical fire spreads to stock |
| Hydrants | Hose boxes empty; hydrant blocked by pallets | Delay in firefighting |
| Exits | Emergency exits blocked or locked from outside | Staff trapped |
| Pump house | Diesel pump not tested; pumps on manual | No water when needed |

Storage buildings covered by the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2006 must submit a maintenance certificate from a Licensed Agency twice a year, in January and July. We confirm the position for your building during the site visit.
Not necessarily. Sprinkler design depends on storage height and the type of goods. Our audit checks the current layout against the system and tells you if in-rack sprinklers or other changes are needed.
Yes. We work around shifts and loading schedules. Tests that need a shutdown are planned with your team.
Yes. We check storage, charging and separation for lithium batteries and recommend suitable extinguishers and detection.
