Fire Safety Audit in Pune
A detailed, on-site audit by a Maharashtra Fire Services Licensed Agency — we inspect and test your fire systems, give you a clear photo report, fix the gaps and issue your Form B.

Find the gaps before a fire — or an inspection — does
Fire systems in most buildings are installed once and then forgotten. Pumps are left on manual, hose reels lose their nozzles, exits get blocked with storage and alarm faults are silenced. A fire safety audit is a structured check of all of this — with testing, not just a walk-through — and a written plan to put it right.
Buildings covered by the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2006 must keep their fire safety measures in good repair and submit a certificate from a Licensed Agency twice a year, in January and July (Form B). New fire installations need a compliance certificate (Form A). FIRENET is a Licensed Agency — so the same team can audit, repair and certify.
When to book an audit
- Your January or July Form B is due
- You are applying for or renewing a fire NOC
- An insurer, client or corporate EHS team has asked for one
- The building has been renovated, extended or changed use
- Nobody is sure when the fire systems were last tested

What Audits Commonly Find in Pune Buildings
Typical examples of gaps found in audits of similar buildings — not a specific client. Your report lists what we actually find at your site, with photos.
| Area | Typical finding | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Pump room | Pumps on manual; jockey pump cycling constantly | System may not start in a fire |
| Hose reels & hydrants | Missing nozzles, cracked hoses, valves jammed | No first-aid firefighting |
| Extinguishers | Expired service, wrong type for the risk, blocked | Fails when needed |
| Escape routes | Storage on staircases and refuge areas; locked exits | People trapped |
| Fire alarm | Faults silenced; detectors covered or missing after fit-outs | Late warning |
| Records | No service reports or drill records on file | Weak compliance position |

Yes. FIRENET holds a Licensed Agency licence from Maharashtra Fire Services, so we can issue Form A (compliance) and Form B (twice-yearly maintenance) certificates. A copy of the licence is shared with clients on request.
Any building where people live, work, study or are treated benefits from an audit — especially buildings covered by the Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2006, buildings due for Form B, sites preparing for a fire NOC or insurance survey, and premises that have been renovated or changed use.
A fire audit is a detailed check of fire risks and systems with a written report. Form B is the maintenance certificate a Licensed Agency issues twice a year (January and July) once the fire systems are working. We usually do the audit first, fix the gaps, then issue Form B.
A small office or shop usually takes 2–3 hours on site. Large societies, hospitals and factories may need a full day or more. The report usually follows within 3 working days.
Most buildings benefit from an audit every year and after any major change. News reports of an August 2026 state directive say hospitals in Maharashtra are expected to be audited every six months. Form B itself is due twice a year.
